Winter in San Francisco
The light in the winter is so great it just has a warm glow most evenings. But the weather here is such that I don’t often get a chance to take advantage of it.
So with the rain comes the clouds and the flat grey light.

Wide mountain shots from the top of France
This is from a trip to France from the top of the Aguil de Midi. I really like panoramas, but the software was pretty basic back then. Now you can just plug it into Photoshop and hit the button. The digital camera I had for this was a brick of a device and the “compact drive” was the size of a silver dollar.

My View from Angel Island a few years ago
Now if you can do the sort of planning that requires booking a campsite some 6 months in advance you too can get a great view of the blue angles when they start their routine.
But remember even though they provide water you have to pack your food and beer in.

Fillmore Slim: The one and only
So this seems to be the photo that shows up as most requested on my old website. I guess it really does help to have a famous subject.
Hope you are still out there Ted.

Ahh S*it
Had to do a complete re-install. Didn’t know about the save and reload feature of wordpress and I also thought it wouldn’t be that big of a deal to just re-post those first dozen photos….
But man did it take the wind out of my sails to have to stare at a blank screen again and have to tread over the same set-up configuration ground again. But the summer has finally arrived in San Francisco the light is shining on everything.
Time to get out and take some more pictures!
